President / CEO

Colby Fuser

Colby joined us in September 2023 after the Gladstone (NYSE: GAIN) and Xyresic private equity acquisition of E3 as President, Chief Executive Officer, and Member of the Board of Directors. Colby brings over 20 years of domestic and international leadership in the oil and gas sector, where he held various roles with Halliburton Energy Services.

Colby’s most recent role as Regional Vice President for the Asia Pacific Region and previous roles in Halliburton In North Africa as an area Vice President for Egypt and Libya, Vice President for Business Development and Marketing for Middle East, North Africa, and Asia Pacific out of Dubai, and Business Development Manager for Saudi Arabia has molded his leadership style to deliver proven results.

Colby is an accomplished business leader with a record of significant contributions in year-over-year revenue growth, successful startups, and fixit/exit execution in high-risk countries. His passion is to build upon knowledge and experience through challenging opportunities and career experiences in executive leadership roles. Colby is an alum of Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with minor studies in Marketing.

Chief Operating Officer

Jason Archuleta

Jason Archuleta is a seasoned executive and technical leader with over two decades of experience in the oil and gas industry, spanning both exploration and production companies as well as oilfield service providers. Throughout his career, he has built a strong reputation for his expertise in large-scale capital project management, lean process implementation, and leading high-performing technical and operational teams.

Mr. Archuleta’s core competencies include wellbore construction, fracture stimulation, field operations, workover and intervention, plug and abandonment (P&A), reserves evaluation, and asset development. Recognized as a forward-thinking innovator, he has consistently championed the early adoption of advanced technologies in the Unconventional Shale space. His specialized knowledge includes frac diagnostics, downhole drilling and completion tools, oil and gas reserves auditing, and digital data integration solutions.

In his most recent executive role, Mr. Archuleta served as Vice President of Wells North America for Repsol, where he led the company’s strategic entry into U.S. Unconventional Shale plays. He was responsible for overseeing safety, operational performance, technical development, cost management, and talent acquisition across four major operating regions. Under his leadership, Repsol managed annual capital expenditures exceeding $1 billion and coordinated over 1,000 contractors and subcontractors.

Currently, Mr. Archuleta serves as Chief Operating Officer for The E3 Company LLC, a leading provider of automated pressure relief valve solutions in the oil and gas sector. He also contributes as a board advisor for AKM Enterprises, a drilling data analytics platform supporting well construction optimization. In addition, he previously held the position of corporate officer at Repsol Oil & Gas USA, LLC.

Mr. Archuleta holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.

Chief Technology Officer

Clayton Dale

As a founder of E3 and patent holder of the Safety RAT, Clay brings over 18 years of experience in leadership, business management, and engineered solutions. Clay develops cutting-edge technology to promote automation and ultimately keep employees away from the Red Zone. Clay graduated from Penn State University with an engineering degree and has provided key skills in O&G, mining, and plastics processes. Clay is passionate about the success of customers and E3, leading the technology space for Red Zone safety.

Chief Financial Officer

Cody Bissett

Cody Bissett has been the Chief Financial Officer since 2024. Cody has over 25 years of financial leadership experience in publicly-traded and private equity-backed energy and industrial companies, including executive roles at Viacore Solutions, Brigade Energy Services, CIG Logistics and Basic Energy Services.

Cody’s career has focused on growth and process improvement, including team building, free cash flow generation, and acquisition activities. He has also helped develop shared services functions across domestic and international operations to help facilitate efficiencies and enable structure in high-growth areas.

Cody has a Bachelors degree in Accounting and an MBA in Finance, both from Angelo State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas.

VP of Operations

Shawn Hodges

Shawn joined E3 Company in 2024 with 35 years of Oil and Gas experience excelling in operational execution and leadership development. Shawn began his career working for the family-owned business, Hodges Trucking, where he held various positions in operations and management.

Shawn then joined Range Resources where he worked for 23 years and held roles including drilling superintendent, completions manager, and water operations manager. Shawn played a key role in starting the Marcellus Shale division for Range Resources implementing many of the industry’s best practices still used by E&Ps today.

Shawn’s most recent role was with the RPC Companies managing Patterson Services for 5 years implementing strategies for the Washington district exceeding operational and financial expectations. Shawn is passionate about safety and operational efficiencies and has a proven track record for mentoring the next generation of oil and gas professionals

VP Business Development & Marketing

Brett Shuman

Brett Shuman is the Vice President of Business Development & Marketing at E3, where he oversees the company’s growth strategy, market expansion, client engagement, and marketing activities. Based in Houston, Texas, he works closely with internal teams and industry partners to identify opportunities, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term relationships that support E3’s success in the energy markets.

With a background in international sales, account management, and marketing, Brett has extensive experience driving business development initiatives in both domestic and global markets, including the Middle East and other emerging regions. Before joining E3, he held leadership roles at Halliburton Energy Services, where he managed key accounts, supported large-scale exploration and production operations, and led contract negotiations to optimize value for all stakeholders.
